For as long as I can remember, I have loved to travel.
In 2014 I discovered the magic of the underwater world. In Egypt, together with my girlfriend Lieke, I obtained the PADI OW certificate. After that we dived in different places around the world and I developed my diving skills by obtaining my AOW, Rescuedive and Master.
In 2019 I got my OCI in Curacao. Since then I have been an indispensable part of this beautiful island. Since then I have been an integral part of this beautiful island and I have now obtained various specialties.

Now I live with (now) my wife Lieke and children in Curaçao and we run a diving school: Jan Thiel Diving. Lieke has developed into a divemaster and underwater photographer. Diving together gives us a lot of fun.
After the acquisition of Jan Thiel Diving, the idea came up to us to offer complete diving holidays to 'fellow' divers or people who still want to learn how to dive! That is how we came into contact with the diving industry ourselves 10 years ago and now we can no longer be ignored in the underwater world! Who knows, this is also in the offing for you...

From the PADI Open Water certification to the Divemaster training, we can provide you with all courses. Most courses can be completed within 2 days. We can offer you more than 10 specialties, so there is certainly a specialty that suits you!
